Travel ban on ETI directors extended

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The travel ban imposed on four directors of the Edirisinghe Trust Investment has been extended indefinitely by the Fort Magistrates' Court. The four directors appeared before the Fort Magistrates' Court today (July 18). The magistrate instructed the 4 directors to cooperate with the investigations that are being carried out on ETI. The travel ban on the 4 directors was imposed based on a request made by the Attorney General. The Attorney General's Department presented facts before the court based on a complaint made by the Director of Non-Banking Financial Institutions of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
