Debate on the National Audit bill begins in parliament

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Parliamentary debate on the National Audit Bill began a few moments ago after being postponed for several times.
The National Audit Bill is a key pledge of the Good Governance government which was to be adopted within the first 100 days of coming into power.
Accordingly, the National Audit Commission is one of the independent commissions mentioned in the 19th amendment to the constitution.
