EURO 4 fuel from tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Petroleum Resources Development says EURO 4 fuel will be issued to the local market from tomorrow. (July 2) The Secretary to the Ministry Upali Marasinghe said the 95 Octane petrol and super diesel will not be available after the introduction of EURO 4 fuel. He added that the harmful emissions would reduce with the usage of the Euro 4 fuel. Marasinghe also further noted that it is planned to distribute EURO 4 to all filling stations islandwide within a week.
