Accident in Hettipola injures four

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four people were injured in a motor accident that occurred in Hiripokuna, Hettipola on the Chilaw-Kurunegala road. News First's correspondent reports that a motorcycle traveling from Paduwasnuwara to Chilaw had collided with an oncoming three-wheeler. The motorcyclist and three-wheel driver sustained injuries and were admitted to the Hettipola District Hospital. They were later transferred to the Kuliyapitiya Base Hospital and are currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital. The injured are residents of Hettipola. The other two victims injured in the accident continue to receive treatment at the Kuliyapitiya Base Hospital.
