"Pulathisi Poson Udanaya" begins at the Polonnaruwa Gal Viharaya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - All preparations have been made for the Pulathisi Poson Udanaya sponsored by News 1st which will take place at the Polonnaruwa Galviharaya. Sarvanna Relics and the relics of the Maha Rahath Theros placed at the Nelligala International Buddhist Centre will also be showcased at the Poson Udanaya for the benefit of devotees who arrive in Polonnaruwa. The Pulathisi Poson Udanaya will take place at the Premises of the Gal-Vihara from the 27th to the 30th of June. The relics placed at the Nelligala International Buddhist Centre were moved to the Pulathisi Poson Udanaya on Tuesday (June 26th) after obtaining blessings from the founder of the Buddhist Centre, Venerable Wathurakumbure Dhammarathana Thero. Meanwhile, a series of events have been organized at the Mihinthale Raja Maha Viharaya to coincide with Poson Full Moon Poya day(June 27). A relic exposition commenced on Tuesday (June 26). A number of facilities have been arranged for the benefit of devotees visit the Mihinthale Sacred Grounds.
