COLOM BO (News 1^st) - Residents of the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipality say they are facing numerous hardships due to the poor maintenance of drainage systems in the area. Several drainage systems in the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia municipality, carry waste to the sea via the Mount Lavinia beach. However, due to blockages and poor maintenance, wastewater and garbage have stagnated in these roadside drains.
