Housing project in Nikaweratiya launched

COLOMBO (News 1st) – A housing project was launched in Nikaweratiya under the auspices of the Minister of Housing and Construction, Sajith Premadasa yesterday (March 30).

Under the project, 25 houses will be built and presented to families who do not own a  home at the end of this year.

The project is named “Yowun Sethgama” village and will be the 605th project carried out under the Udagammana project.

Expressing his views Minister Premadasa sated that the vision of Udagammana project is to construct 2500 villages by 2020.

Further, it was stated that the focus of this project is the well being of the people who live in the grass-root level.
