Christmas is a joyful season, a time of happiness and a time of love. Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ.
We are just two days away from this joyous day.
And as the festivities are in full swing across the country, in Colombo, the Sirasa Christmas Zone is attracting large crowds at the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited Head Office in Braybrooke Place, Colombo.
The Apostolic Nuncio of Sri Lanka, Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. Pierre Nguyên Van Tot was the chief guest for the opening ceremony of the final day of the Sirasa Christmas Zone.
Devotees have the opportunity to pay homage to a Statue of Mother Mary which has been blessed by His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican. The Sirasa Christmas Zone also includes colourful events such as carols, musical shows, magic shows and several other activities for children.
Large groups took part in News 1st screen tests yesterday, December 22, at the Sirasa Christmas Zone.
