M.S Dhoni stepped down as India’s ODI captain ahead of the Limited over series against England, which is due to start on the 15th of January.
However the 35-year old will remain available for selection for the three-match series and the three subsequent Twenty20 internationals
The Wicket-keeper has been the ODI skipper for India since September 2007, and won the 2007 World Twenty20, 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy
Test Captain Virat Kohli is said to be the potential candidate to takeover from Dhoni.
