Visharada H.M. Sanath Nandasiri was appointed as the Chancellor of the University of the Visual and Performing Arts.

He received his letter of appointment from President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat on Wednesday November 23.

Secretary to the President P. B. Abeykoon. and the family members of Sanath Nandasiri participated in this event.

Meanwhile, Supreme Court Justice Priyasad Dep was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat on Wednesday morning.
