Leicester City managed to beat Copenhagen at the King Power Stadium to make it three wins from three in their group and now stand one victory away from qualification in the Champions league.

Islam Slimani’s headed pass found Riyad Mahrez who steered in to the back of the net 5 minutes before half-time .

Leicester are only the fifth Champions League debutantes – after AC Milan, Paris St-Germain, Juventus and Malaga – to win their opening three games.

downloadHowever Foxes’ manager Claudio Ranieri expressed his disappointment that the the defending Premier league champs cannot replicate their Champions league promotion in the domestic league

“I’m very proud of the side from one side but from another, when I think of the Premier League, I am very, very angry,” said Ranieri.
