The Front Against Corruption notes that there is an attempt to erase computer data pertaining to the controversial bond issue. A communique issued by the movement notes that a high-ranking officer has ordered two staff members to delete the data and that they had not carried out the order that was issued.

The Front Against Corruption attending the Satana political programme on our sister channel Sirasa TV on Tuesday stated that if the tenure of the central bank governor is extended, after it expires at the end of this month, the front will resort to a massive protest.

Executive Director of CaFFE, Keerthi Tennakoon stated that initially three or four families robbed the people for ten years, now a limited group carries out the same task.

He added that Arjuna Mahendran still holds the Singaporean Citizenship therefore when he leaves the country he will do it with Sri Lankan money.

Convener of the Anti Corruption Front, Ven. Ulapane Sumangala Thero stated that they will take it to the streets if the CBSL governor is appointed for the second time since they need not protect the the governor or the former president.

Co-cabinet Spokesperson, Rajitha Seneratne noted that the President will make a decision regarding the action which is due against the governor, since he has a large number of allegations against him.
