Gold, cash worth thousands of rupees stolen from a former IGP’s Panadura house

Police says that gold worth five million rupees and Rs.50,000 in cash have been stolen from the residence of former Inspector General of Police Victor Perera.

Police added that the wife of the former IGP had lodged a complaint with the Panadura South Police regarding the theft that occurred at the house located in Panadura town.
