Minister of Petroleum Resources Development Chandima Weerakkody, speaking in Kolonnawa on Wednesday, April 27, stated that brothers of Mahinda Rajapaksa who assumed that votes can be won through money,  and fleeing the country after the defeat, are now going around the country distributing money.

Explaining further, he added that this view where money can be used to play in politics, to win the hearts of the people, must be defeated for the betterment of the working people and the future of the country.
