Sicille Kotelawala, wife of former chairman of Ceylinco Group of Companies Lalith Kotelawala was detained by the Immigration and Emigration Officials on Thursday, February 4.

According to Police Media Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekera, she was later handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department.

Immigration and Emigration Controller, M.M. Ranasinghe stated that Sicille Kotelawala was detained upon her arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport. He noted that Sicille Kotelawala was detained when she returned to Sri Lanka from London.
