The Met Department forecasts that there may be several spells of showers in the Eastern and Uva Provinces and Hambantota district on Sunday, December 20.

The Department added that thundershowers will develop in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces after 4.00 p.m.

The general public is warned, that there may be temporary localised strong winds during thundershowers.
