Popular musician and comedian Christy Leonard Perera has passed away.He was sick for a long period of time. He was 83 years old at the time of passing.

Some of his popular songs were Amma Kiyana Kiyatha Haki , Kullen Pola Pola, Aduru Walawe Punsada.

Some of the popular movies he acted in was Radala Piliruwa, Weera Vijaya, Chandiya , Deewarayo.

His remains will be brought to his residence at Maligawatte on Saturday evening. His final rites will be held on Monday.
