Former Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Zoysa has become the latest addition to Sri Lanka’s coaching panel of the National Fast Bowling Department. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) issued a notice and stated that he will assume duties for period of one year.
The 37-year old left arm paceman played for Sri Lanka from 1997 to 2007 and played thirty test matches and picked up 64 wickets. He has also played 95 ODIs and picked up 108 wickets.
Before working with the Goa Cricket Association in India, Zoysa has lead the coaching department for Royal College and NCC. Starting from the 1st of October, Nuwan Zoysa is officially set to begin duties as an experienced member of the Sri Lankan Coaching Unit.
