The pesky Candy Crush requests on Facebook are about assume national – and even international importance, it seems.

As Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg invited Narendra Modi for a Townhall meeting on September 27, and invited queries from users, what appeared in the response section were multiple requests for PM’s intervention to stop Candy Crush notifications.

The hugely favourite Candy Crush Saga — the Video game where the notification box is flooded by requests to join “Tiffi” and “Mr Toffee” in the “Candy Kingdom” — it appeared, had managed to irk quite a few. And they doubt if anything less than a “summit-level talk” between the Facebook chief and the Indian Prime Minister can sort it out.
