Police Headquarters says that they have launched investigations into a shooting that took place near a nightclub in Mount Lavinia.

Acting Police Media Spokesperson SSP Priyantha Jayakody stated a youth who was injured in the shooting has been hospitalised.

He added that a long-standing dispute between two parties has resulted in the shooting.
