Copa America quarter-finals ended with Peru and Chile moving on to the semi-finals to face each other.
Paolo Guerrero managed to show class as Peru managed to beat Bolivia 3-1 to reach the semi-finals in Copa America. The 31-year-old forward who was goalless in the group stages started off Peru’s journey to victory by scoring from a header and then added to his tally with a right footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner of the net and completed his hat-trick with another right-footed shot in to the net.
Bolivia fought back with Marcelo Moreno converting a penalty on to a goal but the attempt was fruitless as Peru walked away with the win.
Hosts Chile moved on to the Semi-finals as Mauricio Isla managed to see a right footed shot through to the net at the ending minutes of the game. Uruguay’s hopes faltered as they manged to lose Jorge Fucile to a red card in the final few minutes of the game.
