Minister Sajith Premadasa says that the arrival of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to Sri Lanka is an opportunity to declare to the world, the country’s revival.
The minister, speaking at an event, said that in the past all the western nations led by the United States of America were angry with our country adding that various activities in our country were criticised.
He went onto say that human rights resolutions were brought forward against our country.
The minister noted that this government of good governance has been able to ease the tensions between the international community who was against us and transform the power houses in the west as Sri Lanka’s allies.
Minister Sajith Premadasa made this statement while attending an event to distribute sports equipment to sports associations which come under the purview of the Tangalle Divisional Secretariat.
