Investigations commence into alleged break-in at National Museum

A police investigation is underway into an alleged break-in at the National Museum in Colombo. Police Media Unit stated that they suspect the robbers broke into the department of clay and clothing artifacts, which is situated on the second floor, some time between Sunday night and Monday morning.

The Police Media Unit said that Scene Of Crime Officers have been called to investigate the incident. Police further stated that at present, the Colombo Museum is currently being renovated.
