Minister Maithripala Sirisena states that the United People’s Freedom Alliance is prepared for a national election.

The Minister made this statement at a media briefing convened by the UPFA in Colombo on Thursday.

It has not stepped on to a single platform. That is because they are incapable of doing so. In this relay, we are moving far ahead with a baton in hand. They speak of a common candidate but there is no such candidate. The concept of a common candidate is a mere dream to the opposition.[/quote]
