Sri Lanka A leads by 78 runs with six wickets in hand in the 2nd innings against West Indies A.

At stumps on day 3 in the second unofficial test being played in Matara, Sri Lanka A were 63 for the loss of four wickets.

After a poor batting performance by the Lankans in the 1st innings, scoring just 166 runs, the hosts managed to bundle out the visitors for 151 runs.

Kraigg Brathwaite top scored for West Indies A with 76 runs.

Tharindu Kaushal was the pick of the bowlers for the Lankan A team bagging five wickets for 73 runs while Nuwan Pradeep picked up 3 for 28.

While skipper Upul Tharanga was dismissed for 40 runs in the 2nd innings, the umpires called it a day when Vishwa Fernando was dismissed for a duck with Jehan Mubarak unbeaten on 2.
