Joint Secretary of the the Ministry of External Affairs India, Sujithra Thurai Swaminathan engaged in a tour of Kilinochchi on Saturday.

The main objective of her visit was to inspect the housing project in the Northern Province which is funded by the Indian Government.

Meanwhile, a number of houses that were constructed in Jaffna were handed over to the public by the visiting Indian diplomat on Saturday.   The estimated cost of a house donated to the public on Saturday stood at Rs.525, 000.
