ICC World T20 Champions Sri Lanka have dropped to second place in the ICC Cricket Rankings.

Australia has reclaimed the No. 01 Test ranking and has also retained its top ODI spot in the ICC Team Rankings at the  May 1 annual update.

Sri Lanka, the reigning ICC World T20 Champions were on top of the rankings while India were trailing behind in second place. However, the May 1. annual update of the ICC has punched India to first position while Sri Lanka dropped down to second place.

India has only lost one match in all their games that were played in the past one  year. Sri Lanka however, has lost four games, thereby paving the way for India to reach the top of the T20 Rankings.

Sri Lanka has also dropped down to seventh place in the ICC Test Rankings from sixth place, while Australia surpassed South Africa to reach the top.

However, Sri Lanka has managed to retain its third place in the ICC ODI Rankings.

Australia lead the ICC ODI rankings. This is the first time since December 2008 that Australia has been ranked No.01 in both Tests and ODIs at the same time. The updated table now reflects all Test and ODI series completed after August 1, 2011.
