World T20 Cup Champions to arrive today – fans expected to line the streets

The World T20 World Cup champions will arrive at  the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board announced that the team will be participating in a press conference at the airport terminal for special guests.

A group photo is also to be taken.

The SLC states that the team will then travel to Colombo along the Colombo – Negombo Road in a double decker open bus from 4.30 p.m. onwards.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Team is set to travel along the Negombo Road through Seeduwa, Ja-Ela, Kandana, Mahabage, Hendela, Wattala, Peliyagoda, Orugodawatte, Borella, Cemetery Roundabout, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Bambalapitiya, along the Galle Road to Galle Face Green.

SLC requests all cricket fans to welcome the champions by gathering alongside the road between Bandaranaike International Airport to Galle Face Green.
