Sri Lanka will host the next International Conference of Asian Political Parties or ICAPP.
The preparations were finalized when Chung Eui-yon, secretary-general of the ICAPP Standing Committee, met President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Presidential Media Unit, the International Conference of Asian Political Parties will be hosted by Sri Lanka from the Sept. 18 to Sept. 21.
As host, Sri Lanka was asked to select the main theme of the conference, which was decided to be “Building an Asian Community.”
