A story that will bring back memories of Bambi was reported from the Kuda Hindogama Reserve. A three-week-old buck that was found alone near the Kuda Hindogama Reserve has been handed over to wildlife officials by  residents.

The new-born buck is believed to have been separated from its mother and was found by a resident in Kuda Hindogama. Residents had fed the animal  for about two days before handing it over to wildlife authorities.

Wildlife officers had later handed over the buck to the Pundalagama Veterinary Office in Anuradhapura.
