Sri Lanka has signed eight memorandums of understanding with Kenya.
The Presidential media unit said that President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his Kenyan counterpart President Uhuru
Kenyatta presided over the signing ceremony of the MoUs in Nairobi last evening, during President Rajapaksa’s state visit to Kenya.
The MoUs were agreed upon with the aim of further enhancing cooperation in the economic and investment
sectors between the two nations.
According to the Presidential Media Unit, the MoUs cover tourism, cooperation in the ﬁeld of sports, visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and ofﬁcial passports, bilateral trade, economic, commercial and technical corporation.
