The expenditure heads for the Ministries of Defence and Urban Development and Law and Order, were passed in Parliament on Tuesday.

One hundred and twenty six (126) MPs voted for,  while nine MPs voted against.

UNP and Democratic National Alliance MP’s were not present in the chamber when the roll was called.

MPs from the Tamil National Alliance voted against.
