Namal To Remain In Custody Until November 19

COLOMBO (News 1st): Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has been ordered to remain in custody until November 19 by the Colombo Permanent High Court Trial at Bar.

The order was issued in connection with allegations that he received a bribe of Rs. 100 million in relation to the Airbus Scandal.

Furthermore, the Court also issued a notice to the Registrar of the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court, seeking an explanation for referring the original case file to the Permanent Trial at Bar without following the proper procedures.
