New Online System to Obtain Passports from Regional Offices

COLOMBO (News1st): The Department of Immigration and Emigration has taken steps to provide an online appointment booking facility to obtain passports through its regional offices.

Moreover, The Department stated that the general public will be able to acces and make appoinmemts to obtain passports from regional offices through this system from ther 29th .

Accordingly, applicants can visit the Department of Immigration and Emigration website to reserve a date and time.

The regional offices included in this service are Kandy, Jaffna, Kurunegala, Vavuniya, and Matara.

The Department further added that this booking system does not apply to obtaining passports from the Battaramulla Head Office.
