Former SLC Chief Shammi Silva Summoned by Illegal Assets Probe Unit

COLOMBO (News 1st): Former Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva and former Sri Lanka Cricket Secretary Krishantha Kapuwatta were summoned today before the Illegal Assets Investigation Division as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to officials, the two former office-bearers were called upon to respond to a questionnaire consisting of 36 points relating to matters under investigation.

The move comes several months after Silva and Kapuwatta stepped down from their positions at Sri Lanka Cricket amid controversy surrounding cricket administration and governance issues within the country's governing body for the sport.
