Three Suspects Arrested Over Katana Murder

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three people have been arrested in connection with the assault and killing of a man in Katana.

The arrests were made during an operation conducted based on information received by the Negombo Divisional Crime Investigation Bureau. 

The main suspect and two others accused of aiding and abetting the crime were arrested on August 28.

The suspects were arrested in Daluwakotuwa, Fathima Watta, and Kurana කුරණ, and were subsequently handed over to the Katana Police.

The suspects, aged 23, 47, and 49, are residents of Kadirana කදිරාන, Ettukala ඒත්තුකාල, and Kochchikade.
