Police Launch Investigation into Fatal Shooting in Ratmalana

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Police have launched an investigation through two separate teams into the fatal shooting of a man in the Kandawala. Ratmalana. 

Police Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police F. U. Wootler, said the victim was allegedly involved in drug trafficking.

The deceased was a 58-year-old three-wheeler driver.

Police said the victim succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital following the shooting.
