19 Injured In Weerawila Bus Accident

COLOMBO (News 1st); Nineteen people were injured in a bus accident near the Weerawila Divisional Secretariat.

According to the Police, a bus traveling from Weerawila to Matara had collided with a motorcycle. 

Following the collision, the bus veered off the road and crashed into a margosa tree, causing one of its branches to break and fall onto the bus.

Police added that the injured passengers from the accident, have been admitted to the Debarawewa Hospital.
