203 Meningitis Cases Reported Across Several Areas of the Island

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Health states that 203 meningitis patients have been reported from several areas of the island so far.

Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni, noted that these patients have been reported from the Deniyaya, Diyatalawa, Rikillagaskada, and Kandy areas.

The Deputy Minister of Health also emphasized that the public should not entertain any undue fear regarding this matter. He added that investigations into the matter have also been launched.
