Sri Lanka Names Squads for West Indies Tour 2026 Across All Formats

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Cricket has announced the squads for the national team’s upcoming tour of the West Indies in 2026, covering all three formats of the game, One Day Internationals, Twenty20 Internationals, and Tests.

The tour is scheduled to commence with the ODI series, followed by the T20I fixtures and concluding with the Test matches. The team is set to depart for the West Indies on May 26.

For the Test series, the squad will be led by Dhananjaya de Silva, with Kamindu Mendis named as vice-captain.

The squad includes Pathum Nissanka, Lahiru Udara, Nishan Madushka, Dinesh Chandimal, Pasindu Sooriyabandara, Sonal Dinusha, Kusal Mendis, Milan Rathnayake, Prabath Jayasuriya, Ramesh Mendis, Asitha Fernando, Vishwa Fernando, Lahiru Kumara, Isitha Wijesundara, and Kasun Rajitha.

In the ODI format, Kusal Mendis will captain the side with Kamindu Mendis serving as his deputy.

The squad comprises Pathum Nissanka, Kamil Mishara, Pavan Rathnayake, Janith Liyanage, Charith Asalanka, Milan Rathnayake, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dunith Wellalage, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera, Dilshan Madushanka, Eshan Malinga, Asitha Fernando, and Pramod Madushan.

For the T20I series, Kusal Mendis retains the captaincy, while Kamindu Mendis again takes on the role of vice-captain.

The squad features Pathum Nissanka, Kamil Mishara, Lasith Croospulle, Pavan Rathnayake, Dasun Shanaka, Milan Rathnayake, Dunith Wellalage, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera, Dilshan Madushanka, Eshan Malinga, Binura Fernando, and Nuwan Thushara.

Sri Lanka Cricket noted that the squads have been announced subject to the approval of the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports.
