A Suspect Arrested At BIA With Kush Worth Rs. 5.1 Million

COLOMBO (News 1st);Officials of the Department of Customs at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) have arrested a suspect in possession of Kush Worth Rs. 5.1 Million

The quantity of Kush seized and taken into Customs custody from his possession is 512 grams.

Customs stated that a 37-year-old resident of the Pita Kotte area was arrested in this manner.

Customs officials stated that he had brought the Kush into the country concealed inside several food packages.

He arrived in the island from Thailand last night.
