MR Submits Asset Declaration to Bribery Commission

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has confirmed that the sworn declaration of assets, expenditures, and sources of income of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was received by the Commission today.

The Commission had formally notified former President Rajapaksa by letter on the 23rd, instructing him to submit the sworn declaration within 14 days.

This directive was issued in connection with an investigation initiated into his assets for the year 2015.
