COLOMBO(News 1st); The 11th bilateral political consultation session between Sri Lanka and Russia will begin today.
It will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the session will focus on future challenges in the country’s economic, political, cultural, trade, and tourism sectors, and ways to address them.
The session will be attended by key representatives from both countries, including Sri Lanka’s Foreign Ministry Secretary Aruni Ranaraja and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko.
Andrey Rudenko, who oversees the Asia-Pacific region, arrived in the country on the 31st.
