26-Year-Old Chinese Woman Killed in Kohuwala, Suspect Identified

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lankan police have launched an investigation to arrest a Chinese national in connection with the killing of a Chinese woman in the Kohuwala area, authorities said.

The victim has been identified as a 26-year-old Chinese national.

According to police, the woman was attacked with a sharp weapon while she was inside her residence, and the killing occurred on Monday afternoon.

Investigators said efforts are underway to arrest the woman’s Chinese national boyfriend, who has been identified as the main suspect in the case.
