Four More Suspects Arrested for Illegal Fuel Possession and Sales

COLOMBO(News 1st); Sri Lanka Police have arrested four additional individuals for illegally possessing and selling fuel across multiple locations. 

Two suspects, aged 51 and 53, were apprehended in raids in the Akkara 50 and Dalupotha areas of Negombo with 18 liters of petrol without a license.

In Embulgama, Hanwella, a 31-year-old suspect was arrested with 645 liters of diesel. 

Another individual was arrested in Bosiripura, Kalutara North for illegally possessing and selling 35 liters of petrol.

Police also reported that seven suspects were arrested yesterday in separate raids across Bulathsinhala, Katunayake, Kotahena, Hambantota, Chilaw, and Bogahakumbura.
