Four Dead in Bus Collision Near Weerawila Prison Junction

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four people have been killed and several others injured in a bus accident that occurred in near the Weerawila Open Prison Camp. 

According to the police, the accident took place this morning when a bus traveling from Kataragama to Colombo collided with a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus traveling from Karapitiya to Kataragama.

The injured passengers have been admitted to the Hambantota and Debarawewa hospitals for treatment.
