Seized Drug Stock To Be Destroyed Today

COLOMBO(News 1st); A stock of drugs seized by the Police Narcotics Bureau will be destroyed today by burning them in an incinerator at Lactowatte, Wanathavilluwa.
This follows the conclusion of the relevant proceedings heard at the Colombo High Court.
The stock includes 40 kilograms and 533 grams of heroin, 132 kilograms and 79 grams of ketamine, 55 grams of cocaine, and 3,482 pills.
The drugs are scheduled to be transported from the Colombo High Court complex to Wanathavilluwa this morning.
