Three Suspects Arrested At Kahathuduwa Expressway Entrance With Heroin And Ice

COLOMBO (News 1st): Three suspects attempting to transport narcotics via the expressway were arrested at the Kahathuduwa entrance.

The arrest was made during a raid conducted by officers of the Expressway Inter-Exchange Unit.

According to the police, the suspects were traveling in a van from Mount Lavinia toward Kandy. Authorities recovered 34g 95mg of heroin and 19g 800mg of "Ice" (Crystal Meth) in their possession.

The suspects, aged 21 and 25, are residents of the Ankumbura and Galhinna areas. They have been handed over to the Kahathuduwa Police for further investigation.
