Fire Breaks Out in Maharagama; Seven Fire Engines Deployed to Contain the Blaze

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A fire has broken out in a row of shops in Maharagama.
The Fire Services Department of the Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte Municipal Council said seven fire trucks were deployed to control the blaze.
The fire, which reportedly started at an Ayurvedic medicine shop, has spread to several nearby stores.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
