Education Teaching Diplomas of National Colleges to be Upgraded to Degrees

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced plans to upgrade the Teaching Diploma currently awarded by National Colleges of Education to a full Bachelor’s Degree.

Deputy Minister Madhura Seneviratne says that discussions regarding the transition are underway.

The Deputy Minister noted that steps are being taken to revise and modernize the curriculum of the Teaching Diplomas.
